The slate is thicker than other pool tables and the rails are attached to the slate with four bolts per section rather than the three bolts used by all other manufacturers. Presidential Billiards has some of the most beautiful pool tables anywhere, especially if you like Teak. Most of their pool tables are made of African Teak. Some of their tables also have other fine woods added to the the woodwork to add beauty. Teak is the hardest wood available on a pool table. It is incredibly difficult to dent this wood. We demonstrate this by wacking it hard with a pool cue, sometimes breaking the cue and causing no mark on the Teak. These tables are beautiful and great to play on.
